YOU JUST SAVED ME. Maybe you can't help the world, but I'm heading to the trash to dump the rest of my lunch. I'm full from 2.5 chicken strips and 5 fries, but I was reading this stuffing another fry in my mouth. Thank you!

And in my defense, I don't usually have fingers & fries for lunch but I had to spend my lunch at the DMV since they screwed up my license. My real lunch was tuna and carrots. Now I'm off to toss the remains, thanks to this one little thread.

I didn't make it to the trash; my skinny co-worker snatched the fries from me! So you did two good deeds since he's too skinny and forgot his lunch. Now he's got warm fries, so thanks from him, too.

It's good that you are climbin' back on the wagon, but you need to keep in mind that you have lost about 35 lbs in 4 months. That's not bad, you know?

Also, I've read in lots of places that your body can't really take more than 25 to 30 grams of protien at a time, so more than that is kind of a waste. You might do half shakes, or less powder in the milk at one time, you know?

Keep it up!

Krystal, I hear ya! Last night I sat down with a bag of FritoLay corn chips and a big ole glass of Water. I've actually not done this since being banded and haven't a clue why I chose last night to start. So this morning, I'm pulling myself up out of that rut I was in and vowing to be the best bandster I can be, as I know that if I don't address it now, it will become another habit I have to break later.

We're here for you if you need to talk (its hard to eat and type at the same time hehe).

Here is my problem, I am currently addicted to popcorn. Not the Plain Jane kind but movie theater with lots o butter type. What is worse than that is that is usually all I will eat the entire day. Yesterday I had one large and one mini microwave bag at one sitting for dinner last night. Unfortunately, it compresses and goes thru the band too easily. But I have given up my two or three times a day Starbucks habit. Now it is maybe twice a week. But I am not eating right at all. I know that. Help me!

I don't have a problem with pastas, breads, and meats. I don't eat them cause the WILL make me PB. I have tried baked fish. In fact, my freezer is full of them and they make me PB everytime.

Any suggestions will be very much appreciated!!!!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
