I have been drinking Water but not much. My dr said to attempt a gallon but Im not even close. Im more worried about being w/out water ALL day tomorrow since my surgery is not until 145pm. Yikes! I am not nervous yet....maybe tomorrow I will be...:thumbup:

My surgery was for 9am so i wasnt worried about being npo after midnight...but now they pushed it back to 2pm!!! Im so nervous, but ive been keeping calm!

I wish all the best. I'm sure you will do fine. I was banded the 21st. This site has helped so much, I'm going thru all what I've read aboue. The port site is very sore. Fortunately I've not experienced the gas that alot of people have had. I hope it doesnt develop . Also my stomach is growling and rumbling which I expected. Good Luck

My surgery was at noon and I did ok without water. They will hook you up to some IVs with fluids an hour or so before surgery and that will make you hydrated again.
