I have always been overweight and I remember years ago when someone I knew had Gastric Bypass surgery. I had never heard of a surgery to help you lose weight and I was intrigued but there was SO much paperwork to do and no one to help me so I became discouraged and decided not to pursue it. (This was before they had dr offices with people to help you through the process). Fast forward 8 years and here I am with a surgery date of 7/23/09! I started the process in February, right after my 28th birthday, never imagining that this day would come! I still cant believe Im having it. I cant wait.
