I have been scheduled for surgery on 7/31/09. I am still pending insurance approval. My surgeon's insurance person believes I won't have any problem getting approved so she put me on the schedule.
Here is my question. He wants me to do a 3 week pre-op diet. Does it hurt to do the pre-op diet longer? My BMI is 44. Has anyone had to do 3 weeks or longer for a pre-op diet? If so, can you give me any helpful hints to last the 3 weeks? Thanks for the help!
