I feel pretty good. Been laying around most of the day. Its hard telling a grown man and a 10 year old daughter how to do things.

Today I told my daughter to put toilet paper on the holder. She goes in says she don't know how and then comes out with the ceramic holder in her hand. She ripped it right off the wall. I told her she didn't need to tear the house down to change it. Wanted to laugh but that hurt too bad. It also agrivated me cuz now i have a hole in my wall and the toilet paper is sitting on the floor.

4 days out and bored to death.

I have very little pain. Taking pain pills at bed time to help me sleep but really don't feel the need for them during the daytime.

I been laying around and giving out orders to my family.

After I had my lapband surgery my hubby didn't help much at all. He wanted me to got this Tummy Tuck so I threatened him that he better be here to help. So far he has done good. Still would be so much easier if I was able to just do it myself.

I'm excited for tuesday to come so I can see my new belly. Will be nice to take a shower and wash my hair too.

Had my follow up appt today he took off the binder for a few minutes I saw my belly it was swelled but not saggy. I'm allowed to shower now so will do that tomorrow. He said everything looked good and said I was healing good.

Still not allowed to do anything. I'm gonna go nuts with my hubby in the kitchen. I sit and give orders but I am so ready to cook myself.

Insurance paid for most of the surgery but woudn't cover the top sag so I paid for that myself. That cost almost $4000, more than what I expected but I knew I wouldnt have been satisfied with the top roll. Just the doc charged $3000, then had to pay for the extra time in the operating room and anistesia

I'm now 2 weeks out and finally able to do things. I am now cooking again with some help from my 10 year old daughter.

I still get pretty wiped out if I try to do too much. Swept and mopped kitchen and bathroom yesterday and that made me feel sore and I had to come lay in bed for a while to get my strenght back.

The pain is just about compleatly gone, sometimes when I first get up it hurts. I didn't think the pain was all that bad from the beginning.

Never thought I would look forward to exercising but I really do miss that and can't wait till I can start back to curves and walking.

I still have one drain in and still wearing the compression garment I think he will get rid of them 2 things at my next appointment on Tuesday then I can wear some sort of spandx thing.

Sounds like you're doing great. It's good when the drains come out because then you don't have to worry about them pulling out, etc.

My doc said I could walk right away, so I did.

Can't wait to see your pics.

Glad it's going so well for you. I'm 7 weeks out from Tummy Tuck and only have pain when I sneeze. I still have to wear Spanx - glad it's not a hot summer!

I love my band and my new flat tummy.

Sue where did you get the Spanx and how much did that cost. I don't think the doctor made that clear enough to me. At my last appointment he told me I would need the spanx and said I could buy them at kohls. I asked him what size he said small, I told him I don't feel small and he says well you are. So I bought med.

The other night I figured this binder was stinky from wearing it for 2 weeks so I took a shower and put the binder in the washer. I figured I would put on the spanx thing I had. Well its like panties that pull up but has snaps at the crotch. I tried to put them on like panties and got them to my knees and well I was scared to pull them up they seemed so tight. Then I thought I would open up the crotch and put them on over my head. I put both my arms in and over my head then got stuck. I couldn't get them on or off. I finally did and threw the stupid things on the floor. So now I don't know what I need.

Any help would be greatly appriciated from any of you tummy tuckers that know what is best.

Hi:

Sorry, but I'm busting a gut laughing about your Spanx experience. Especially from when you said you tried putting them on over your head! HA HA Ha. Thanks for the laugh.

I bought a spanx type garment at Kohl's and I bought large. I bought the kind that goes down to your knees and up just under your bra. It is the most comfortable one that I have. I have another one that goes just above the waist and that one rolls down sometimes so it's not as good.

Perhaps if you just go up from medium to large? Maybe you should go to the store with pantyhose on and try one on before you buy it. They're too expensive to buy the wrong size. I think I paid close to $40 for the better one and $30 for the other.

Good luck.

I love my band and my new flat tummy.

Sue

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
