Peer to Peer Talk from my doctor to theirs - requested By Cigna?

Hi! I am brand new here.
) I am SO close to getting approved by Cigna but they did deny me the first time. They said my best bet in order to get approved is to have my doctor call into Cigna to talk to their doctor. He called it a Peer to Peer something or other. Conference? I'm not sure. But, basically it is my doctor calling their doctor to discuss my case and see if he feels it's necessary for me to have the surgery. My question is: do you guys know what goes on during those conversations as in what they're going to ask him? Also, has anyone ever had to do this? What was your success rate? Thanks for your help!
