Need Lap Band Buddy / Mentor N. California Kaiser in South San Francisco

I'm at the very beginning stages of the process and have nearly 200 pounds to lose.

I went to the orientation at Kaiser in South San Francisco about a year ago and was really put off with the mentality of the orientation. They were telling us that we were "diseased" and I walked away with such a downer feeling. I did not walk away feeling positive at all.

Being in the medical field, I am well aware of what this is going to take on my part and the risks and benefits of the procedure.

I would like to connect with someone who has been through this at the Kaiser facility in South San Francisco. Anyone out there?
