Anniversary Challenge

Recommended Posts

I just found this thread so I missed the Memorial Day part of the challenge! I've got to start checking our actual category more often. I don't always get to check the main "new posts" as much as I like and I end up missing a lot.

Logged in to our weekly to say I regained 1.1 this week. I am SO frustrated! I went and looked at iCal, I enter in all of my Friday weights in there, only to discover that I've been bouncing the SAME 3 LBS for the last THREE MONTHS!!!!!!!!!! :tongue2:

I'm terrified to even enter a goal for my bandiversary but I'm going to. I was really hoping to be near goal by then but that isn't going to happen. I was a slow loser before surgery and surgery hasn't seemed to really change that at all.

Anyway.

I'm going to shoot for the mid to low 170s by August. I would like to be 179 by July 4th. We'll see how it goes.

I've been walking virtually every day. Either my 2.5 mile loop when I'm on my own, or my 1.5 mile loop with DD and DDog. Both work me pretty hard.

I started logging my food again on daily plate. I have to or I snack all day. This way, it keeps me accountable. If I really want to eat it I do but I go log it in BEFORE I eat it! Sometimes it changes my mind for me! LOL!

Hi all - I'm late for all this but better late than never. My goal is to be 199lbs on August 15th. That is 15 lbs down from now, and a total of 60 lbs from starting this band journey. Its been dang slow - but I'm still waaay better than this time last year. OK - I'm more pumped now

Onederland is my anniversary goal as well. It will be 66 lbs down for me and 19 from today. I am pumped. I am running every day and doing some strength stuff on the short days. I tell everyone - I am NOT dieting or trying to lose weight; I AM TRYING TO CHANGE/SAVE MY LIFE!

We can do it!:blushing:

I am aiming for 185 by July 4th. We shall see. I had a Water weight gain this week (traveling for work and eating out) and I am fighting to get off. I have started running/walking and I love it.

Good Luck staying on track fellow bandsters!

Good job, Lana! And 2 weeks behind is not that bad. Keep forging ahead, you CAN do this!!!

As for me, I had a loss of 1.6 this week to put me at 181.8. I'm shooting for 179 by July 4th. That would be almost 3 lbs in 3 weeks. I actually think I can make this goal for once. I've never been able to make my goals. I think I go into sabotage mode. Pitiful but I know it's coming from within, not without.

I'm tracking my food again on dailyplate and I really think that's my new MUST. I MUST track or I don't lose. I just started tracking again a few weeks ago so it's a little early to tell but so far, so good.

Have a great week everyone!! TTFN!

I may readjust my July 4th goal...but I will try to be in the high 140's I had a few weeks with no loss at all and now I am losing again. My last fill seems to be real close to the sweet spot. One more fill might do it. Have to call for an appointment in July for it.

Got into some very skinny purple jeans I got at Christmas. Very happy they are a size 13 but smaller than my size 11-12 jeans. Very skinny legs on them, I couldn't even get them up a month ago past my knees LOL now they fit (tight) and I can button them up and even sit in them....have to take a pic this week.

Everyone is doing great, I say slow and steady now wins the race. As long as your losing your a winner right......

I stayed the same. I have to say tho, I'm okay with that. I forgot to take my BP pill the other day and gained 5lbs!!! It's all Water weight but it takes a couple of days to get back off. I'm still bloated and can feel it but I did manage to get back down to last week's weight.

Goals:

July 4th - 179

Aug 28th - 170

I seriously am not sure if I can make these or not.

Have a great week everyone!!!

Wow! Guess I'll post first for this week.

Lost a lb! Happy with that. It's been REALLY HOT! so I haven't gotten out for any walks this week and I had a couple of high calorie days so I'm VERY happy with this!

For the first time, I may just reach my goal! I'll be happy if I can just get really close tho!

So, my goals are:

July 4th - 179

Aug. 28th - 170

Have a great week everyone!!

Adjusted July 4th Goal: 220

July 4th Reality: 224.4

New Bandiversary (8/4) Goal: 220

Well, I set my initial goals pretty high and missed the mark, but I HAVE continued to lose, so I'm happy with that. I'm heading for 220 by my bandiversary, but I'd love to break into the 210s. Here's to hard work!

July 4th Goal - 179

July 4th WI - 180.7

I didn't hit my goal but this is the closest I've ever gotten to a goal I've set so I'm pretty happy.

Now if I can just keep from eating us outta house and home while I wait for my fill at the end of the month! YIKES!!

Anniversary (8/25) Goal - 170. That's going to be a challenge for me! We'll see how close I get! :smile2:

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
