Need Lap Band Buddy / Mentor In Ca, I.E. Or Anywhere! Just Need Guidance

Hello, I'm looking for someone to help guide me through a very new experience. I just started the process in January and my insurance requires me to have 6 months of medical supervision so with any luck I am looking at a Sept. surgery. I would just like to talk to anyone else that has gone through the process to make sure that I am not leaving any steps out or that my doctor is doing what he is suppose to. Can anyone help, PLEASE?!!

I'm all ears :)
