Need Lap Band Buddy / Mentor Nursing Student in S. GA

I chose Doctor Bagnato in Albany, GA....Any mentors use him??? I am now waiting for the insurance company BCBSIL..Hoping to go for surgery right after finals....Meanwhile, I am wondering if I should stock up on anything? Any words of wisdom, and a hand to hold would be great. My DH is an OTR driver so he probably won't be here and we have no family here. My bff in New Jersey is hoping that she can get off and come be with me. Thanks for reading and any replies.
