Well, it looks like I'm eating too much! I added 200-300 calories this week to get to around 1000-1100 per day and have actually lost 2 lbs., whereas I was at a standstill until I did that.

Anyway....

I generally get in 3 meals per day, 1 snack, a plain Protein supplement (1 scoop of Isopure in 6 oz. of water) and a "supplemented" Protein supplement (mixed with yogurt or cream of wheat).

My snack is either a Yoplait Fiber One yogurt or a sugar free pudding.

My meals generally consist of one of the following:

2 scrambled eggs

1 can of tuna with a bit of light Miracle Whip and relish

1 individual size cottage cheese

1/2 can of refried Beans

Wow... everyone else seems to be eating less. I'm still on mushies and haven't varied my diet much, but am pretty satisfied with what I've been eating. If I get hungry in the evening, I'll eat a sugar free Jello (10 calories) to stop the rumbling.

The only thing I've really craved since having the surgery is a big old slice of pizza. Yum.

Well I got over my pizza craving the hard way!

I am now on a full diet... so yesterday I decided to have 1 small slice of thin crust light cheese pizza... and it got stuck. If this hasn't happened to you yet count your blessings, as it's extremely uncomfortable. :grouphug: It'll be a while till I consider having pizza again! Except for the crustless kind, that is- it's an idea I got on this site. I take some pizza toppings, add some low fat mozzarella and sauce, and microwave.

Today:

B: 1 small yogurt and a small soy latte

L: 1 cup broth-based Soup

Snack: 1 yogurt parfait (yogurt with berries and a little granola topping)

D: (planned): 1 crustless pizza (1/2 cup total)

i think you might feel like me. i had a cinna bun and felt so bad afterwards becuz i knew i didn't need it. i just was a poor food choice. it takes time things will get better the thing is that you recognize that some thing was done that made you feel funny. the most important thing is to get back on board.

dont beat yourself up we are all human and im sure at some point in time we all will go through it.

veronica your doing just fine. some can eat more that others. i dont know what my calorie intake is gonna have to start keeping track again.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
