Recommended Posts

hi all,

just thought i would give everyone an update on me well i called my dr and let them know that i'm eating more and i think i need a fill so they told me to come in tuesday. so im so happy about that as i was to come in next month before. i went and got and the scale again at my dr's office and it said i gained again. and i was just on it on tuesday. so im just gonna use the weightloss clinic's scale as there's is the only one that counts. so i will only be getting weighted monthly now.

but, the funny thing is im not mad or any thing as i now relize i was weighing myself way to much. and it was only stressing me out. so he-- with that. well everyone wish me luck.:w00t:

I was cleared by my doc to start weightlifting last week and I've been hitting them pretty hard, as a result the scale hasn’t moved this week, my arms are up 1.5" and belly is down 3" though so I guess I can live with it. Tomorrow I will finish week 4 of couch to 5k, if your knees are up to it I highly recommend it. I actually look forward to running for the first time in my life, weird:blush:?

Welcome Debi,

What would help to finish out the spreadsheet is the following...

Highest Weight

Current Weight

Goal Weight

Looks like the 166 lbs is your weight at time of surgery right?

Hi everyone,

I just got my first fill today so I will weigh in on January 31. I have gained and lost the same pound for a week. Just happy it was only 1 pound. Hopefully I will meet my 5 pound goal by Saturday. Thanks! :bored:

Hey all!

Well I have my final weight for the month. I lost another 6 lbs this week bringing my monthly total to 11 lbs. I didn't meet my 20 lbs goal but still I am happy with the 11 lbs weight loss. I am ready to get started on February and will set a more realistic goal for February too. LOL

Just checking in with my total for the month. I lost one more pound this week for a total of 6 lbs. for the month. My goal was 10, but I set that when I was supposed to get a fill mid-month. I'm good with 6 lbs. I'll stick with a 10-lb. goal for February since I SHOULD be getting my first fill 2/12 and am hoping that will make a difference. Six lbs. is good, but guess what's great??

I hit "onderland" today. Woohoo!

BTW - Where is this spreadsheet? Is it going to be posted? I think the month's biggest loser should get to put a "January 2009 How Low Can You Go Challenge Winner" ribbon in their signature.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
