CONFESSION TIME..spill it

Recommended Posts

I've heard the Slimfast are no-nos too, but I don't really know why. However, for a few years now I've done the EAS Myoplex Lite Carb Control and really like them, especially in chocolate. Seventeen grams of Protein, four grams of carbs, about 100 cals.

Where do you get those, Beth?

The sell them at GNC, but for far too much money. I get them at Walmart for less than half the price. GNC sells them for about $10 for a pack of four, and WalMart sells the same stuff for about $4.97.

Hmm, what does that tell you? As I said in another thread, Lulu is my only FB friend. Very few on FB know about my surgery..

What, I am hurt that Lulu is the only worthy one of being your friend on FB. Actually, I think you will see that most of us never talk about the band there. I only comment to people who are out in the open about it and they post something related to it, then I will respond. You should be safe. Now add me, damnit! shane_yell.gif

Was it SNT? She doesn't like us. :tt1: JK, JK

I hear ya, I love it when I have what I call a "me day" when I am home all alone and get to play with my "toys". Yet, the family always feels guilty for leaving me. If they only knew that secretly I am actually pushing their bootys out the door!

Beth, not trying to piss you off or sound catty, but if you drank those for several years and still needed the band, maybe you should stop drinking them now? <ducking head and running for the door>

Since you're in the medical field, isn't there some sort of requirement that you have to be on call 24/7 and respond for requests to come in within a specific time period? Maybe that's just for doctors?

Only during hurricanes or emergency situations..but we do always work holidays and stuff...my brother works in surgery he's always on call..I'm just saying they knew this girl was having her baby this month and they had plenty of time to find someone to cover her ...I don't like to work more than my 3 12hr shifts per week...

Oooohh, you bees SO bad! :(

I obviously need to clarify, otherwise I AM selling the product short, ain't I?

I love them for Breakfast because I am never hungry first thing in the morning. At least I used them when I dieted, and I'm using them still. On mushies it's hard to get all my Protein so I drink a couple a day.

I hope that helps!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
