POST-OP SEX....OwwwcCCH! MY PORT!!!!!

Recommended Posts

I don't think I can take the thought of, "You want to stick it where, and then you want to stick it WHERE??"

I'm still throwing up in my mouth a little over that one...

Um, yeah....me too!

I don't think the post is inappropriate.....I just found it pretty funny that you asked a question: "When is it safe to have sex", and J. Joseph, instead of answering the question, posts on how to improve anal / oral sex. And hey, if J. Joseph feels that free to post that......good for him. It's a good thing and a compliment to Alex (the main dude) that people are free to express themselves here, and to ask all sorts of questions.

But that still cracks me up.

It kinda icks me out.

Don't get me wrong... I have no hangups with oral sex, and I've been known to have a few drinks and do the other :wink2:. However, I would never EVER EVER think of doing them both in the same romp session, I don't care HOW "clean" that puppy is! :smile2:

All this talk makes me a bit sad that I don't have a partner.

In the words of the late, great Marvin Gaye--"Keep gettin' it on!"

I know there's nothing like the human touch (if you get my meaning) but honey don't let not having a partner stop you from having fun. :cursing: I hope you know what I mean.

Since discovering this website I have had so much fun. All of my conversations have been fun, informative, and intriguing too. I've only had one bad experience. I blame myself for that because I should have reconized that some of the postees had issues. I love talking to open minded people. I'm the type of person that will state her opinion and if you don't like it "Oh Well." I love the fact that people feel free enough to share almost anything. :scared2:

Oh Yeah! By the way JJ you work it. That's what I'm talking about. You do your thing. May you have many more wonderful, blissful, and passionate years a head of you.

To all the rest of you take a clue from J.Joseph and don't let anyone's opinion of what you do and how you do... affect you. DO YOU! :scared2::cursing::tt2::smile2::thumbup:

I agree! I read and discuss some of the coolest things through this site! Everyone (for the most part) is just so nice and friendly.

So, I gotta ask something...embarrassing.

My first time "back in the saddle" was about 2wks post-op. It was alone :cursing: because I wasn't sure what to expect and I didn't want hubby getting offended if things didn't go as well as he'd like. :scared2::blushing: Well, the O was much harder to come by (pun intended), and once I got there - it was so weak I wanted to cry. My stomach muscles were so tense and it was rather painful in my belly. Is this the case for everyone else? If so, how long til I'm healed so I can get back to having a good O? I was so disappointed by that experience that I've not tried it since, and I'm 4wks post-op today.

Well girlfriend give it another try... You know your body just went through something major it has a foreign object attached to it and it may just take a little time for things to get back to normal. Just keep trying different things in different ways. You know I'm the wrong person to ask... I'm so pro-sex and I enjoy sex so much. All I have to say is definitely listen to your body.

Most definitely bring hubby into the picture maybe he can help you find that Big O. Think outside the box (no pun intended) we have so many tools that we can utilize on our body like our lips, tongues, fingers, ect. do you get my drift. Don't leave hubby out!

True, unless somebody comes on and says, "Hey, ladies, if you wanna keep your man, this is what you gotta do..."

Heck, my hubby would never kiss me again, that's for sure! :cursing:

she has been finding our anal to oral sequence much more enjoyable for her. I recommend that some of you ladies try it, especially those of you trying to "keep" your man.

I agree. this is way too much information for this particular section of the board. :smile2::thumbup::scared2::cursing:

hey Jmegirl, I hope I don't get dinged for being inapropriate but about ten days post-op hubby and me tried it but we also used an extra device(if you get my meaning)to help me. It made it a lot easier for me. Then we were both satisfied. Just a suggestion, hope it helps! I have to admit while this is an incredible valuble topic for us I can't help but laugh a the fact that this post started 12-1-08 and already has 40+ replies!! I guess sex is a hot topic no matter what the platform!! LOL!!

Of course sex is a hot topic besides drugs, violence, and politics... sex is one of those subjects that will find it's way in most convesations. May I add it's the funnest topic as well. What can be more interesting than mature adults discussing a topic that has been around as long as breathing and eating. :cursing:

Question for anyone, how did you get your mind right before surgery? Like as far as eating better foods and just doing better in general? I'm having a really hard time with this. Any help is appreciated 🙏❤️

I had about 6 months between deciding to do surgery and getting scheduled. I came across the book The Pound of Cure by Dr. Matthew Weiner, a bariatric surgeon in Arizona, and started to implement some of the changes he recommended (and lost 13 lbs in the process without ever feeling deprived). The book is very simple, and the focus is on whole, plant based foods, but within reason. It's not an all or nothing approach, or going vegan or something, but focuses on improvement and aiming for getting it right 80-90% of the time. His suggestions are divided into 12 sections that you can tackle over time, perhaps one per month for a year if a person is just trying to improve nutrition and build good habits. They range from things like cutting out artificial sweetener or eating more beans to eating a pound of vegetables per day. I found it really effective pre-surgery and it's an eating style I will be working to get back to as I am further out from surgery and have more capacity. Small changes you can sustain will do the most for building good habits for life.

That sounds awesome. I'll have to check that out thanks!

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
