Not sure when your surgery was, a couple of months ago, right? Keep your chin up HIGH...your down 60lbs, that is AWESOME....that's a lot of weight! I'm only 10 days post-op and was a little upset that I wasn't loosing any weight over a 5 day period....I couldn't understand it, I'm only on liquids for pete sake! Today, I'm down three pounds:smile2:

This journey we are all on is a process...loosing weight is going to take time...just believe in yourself and stay positive!

You should be VERY proud of yourself...keep up the great work! Good luck!

Right now at the present time I feel great. Only a little bit of soreness. Still on the shakes and Soup. Tomorrow I start on the mushies. All is good. I can't wait until I go to the Dr. on Dec. 4. They will weigh me then and I will have an official weight. I just know I am going down down. I have not had to do any insulin shots for quite a while now. Primary Dr. said to only do the insulin if 100 or above. Happy to say my B/S has been below. I go to my primary Dr. on Dec. 9. So I will get to see how my A1c will be at that point. Everyone hang in there, I know I will, life for me is too short to not live it too the fullest.

Totally sucks, I know! But you WILL get there! Make sure your drinking all your liquids...I think that was my problem...I wasn't getting enough calories and wasn't drinking all my Water....once I made sure I did this, the weight started coming off again....good luck!

I am at a standstill too. I did however start going to the gym and will do this 3-4 times a week

I am really upset that the scale hasn't moved....

But we are still recovering!

I had my first fill yesterday at 4 weeks post op. I'm down a total of 24 pounds, and although the weight loss has slowed, I feel like my body is rearranging and getting smaller, so I'm not concerned.

I went to my work's holiday party last night and found it so freeing to not base the entire night around food! It was an amazing dinner with about 10 different choices for desert and an open bar, but I focused on mainly on the people there, chewed my food thoroughly and had a fabulous time without hanging out by the deserts all night!

This lapband is the best thing I have ever done for myself!

Hey Froggi!

I am 22 days post of today. I did get off my liquids yesterday. I did not start to loose until after my first week and only lost 2 my second. You would think being on straight liquids I would have lost more. However the 3rd week I lost 4 pounds in 4 days. My doctor told me it takes weeks for the healing process. Dont get discourged. You have made it through the hard part! I am happy to report as of Yesterday morning, since my preop on the 27 of Oct, I have lost a total of 30 pounds! You will be kicking my butt pretty soon!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
