  1. So long story short. After living methotical and dilligent I lost my band due to a slip. Could not be revised that day due to the time the slip occured and the damage that happened. So 8 may I was revised to sleeve and happier than ever. I will never reccommend the band again Keri
  2. Sept of 2011 I was admitted and had emergency surgery for my lap band to be removed. I was assured I did nothing wrong, and this just happens. I have been very careful with my diet, and have been unsuccessful in keeping the weight off. We moved the following month and I just met my new surgeon. I am no longer able to have the band, and we decided to get the vertical sleeve. I have been dealing with the issues and hopefully it will be ok. I just wanted to give an update. Keri
  3. Saw my Dr a week and 1/2 ago. I have lost 42% of my body mass. WOW He said that most do that in 2 years, and I did that in less than 1 year! He is very happy with my progress! I am so proud
  4. I am offically in the 100's I weighed this am and I am 196.5! I am so happy!!!
  5. that is totally uncalled for..........and that is total malpractice in my opinion. Keri
  6. 211.5! I am so close to onederland! Keri
  7. Wow, I had mine the same day. I think I remember you. I am Keri, and had mine at 1pm that day. I am praying for you. I have lost about 49lbs, and have "knock on wood" no complications. Keri
  8. That sounds like me too. However the last time I got sick was friday. I didn't start noticing the pain till (sunday). I am thinking with all the working out, and how much I clean yesterday, plus it only is a dull ache when I do contract my muscles (like a crunch). I wonder because I am losing weight that the band doens't have much fat tissue around it and till it makes a new home, I just will notice it some. HELP Keri
  9. I am doing good. I have my days where I PB but I am ok otherwise. I do have some discomfort in my upper left abdomen. I wonder if with me losing weight, and fat, things are moving around. I am in a 14/16 right now. I am down I think a reasonable amount of weight. I have an appt next month with my doctor for a follow up. I hope he might take a little out because I am a still concerned with having 9cc's already in my band. Hope you all are well. Keri
  10. Hey all. In a 14/16!! Haven't been since High school. Last night I went through my closet and got rid of all my fat clothes, and replaced them with my hand me down thinner clothes. Thank goodness for friends with the lapband. I am getting to the gym as often as I can. I have been chasing after 4 kids, so that has to count for the days i don't go. My hubby is awesome, and helps me out alot. I am 15lbs away from being in the onederland! I can't believe it! I am so glad to hear all of you are well! Keri
