No Longer Banded

Sept of 2011 I was admitted and had emergency surgery for my lap band to be removed. I was assured I did nothing wrong, and this just happens. I have been very careful with my diet, and have been unsuccessful in keeping the weight off. We moved the following month and I just met my new surgeon. I am no longer able to have the band, and we decided to get the vertical sleeve.

I have been dealing with the issues and hopefully it will be ok.

I just wanted to give an update.
