Hey Everyone,

Ok here is the link to the banner. http://d.imagehost.org/0146/holi-hot.png

Now go to the editor for your signature CLICK HERE and then put then the link and then after the link with no spaces. This will add it to your signature.

Let me know if you have any problems with it.

Like I have said before I will change the banner if another name gets voted in.

Hi, I'm new to this website, and waiting for my insurance approval. Estimated date of surgery will be December 29th. I am from Jacksonville, FL and will be having my surgery at Baptist Hospital by Dr. Craig Morgenthal. I'm happy and nervous at the same time. Can you tell me where I can go to get the "ticker tape" on my replies?

I am not as nervous as I thought I would be, but I am sure I will be as the time gets closer. My home computer crashed so. It will be hard to keep you all posted but I will do my best. It has been a hard 2 days have not been able to eat at all only liquids my last meal was Sunday Night.. I was able to drink Clear Liquids until 9 this morning so that helped a little..Please keep me in your prayers and I will let you all know my progress as soon as I am able to get to a computer

Pete - thanks for all your work on the banner. I have a lot of trouble getting the banners and/or tickers to my signature block. I always get the "invalid file" notification, no matter what I do. To get my ticker I finally emailed Alex, and he very graciously got it to work for me. I had the same problem with your banner. This time I went to the link, copied the banner into my hard drive, then used the browser window to find it and upload it to my signature block. VOILA!!! Whatever it takes!

I hope you and your family are getting along well. Has there been any action on the job front? Know that we all are thinking about you and sending good thoughts and prayers your way.

We'll all be having a great Thanksgiving this year - enjoying our turkey broth and sugar-free Jello! Personally, I am going to have a sugar-free fudgesicle for dessert - or maybe a pumpkin Protein shake! I will love every minute of it because it means I am one day closer to the start of this incredible journey.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
