I don't know why your doctor said to wait 4 weeks. I only waited a week and it was fine...there's no way I'd wait 4 weeks!

Sounds crazy to me. I could have had sex. I was not in any pain or discomfort in any way. Maybe watch the position so you are comfortable.

I am sure in the powder room there were ladies reporting they had sex right away. Look in the Girl's room.

I had sex 10 days after the band.

I read a thread a while ago about the same thing. One of the guys mentioned that he had sex the day after his band.

I had sex on day 5. I agree with Karen. Nothing crazy.

In the information packet provided by my doctor's office, under FAQ, "When can I resume sexual activity?" A: "When you feel like it, but try to make sure the curtain on the hospital bed is pulled tight."

who told you that? Go ahead, enjoy! I had sex 2 days after my surgery. If you feel ok, then go for it.

you had surgery on your stomach, not your cervix. lol

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
