I don't know why your doctor said to wait 4 weeks. I only waited a week and it was fine...there's no way I'd wait 4 weeks!

Sounds crazy to me. I could have had sex. I was not in any pain or discomfort in any way. Maybe watch the position so you are comfortable.

I am sure in the powder room there were ladies reporting they had sex right away. Look in the Girl's room.

I had some good loving I think it was the thrid day, and dam with guys we have to do most the work lol and it was no problem shoot when for round two like within 15 min

I had sex 10 days after the band.

I read a thread a while ago about the same thing. One of the guys mentioned that he had sex the day after his band.

I had sex on day 5. I agree with Karen. Nothing crazy.

In the information packet provided by my doctor's office, under FAQ, "When can I resume sexual activity?" A: "When you feel like it, but try to make sure the curtain on the hospital bed is pulled tight."

who told you that? Go ahead, enjoy! I had sex 2 days after my surgery. If you feel ok, then go for it.

you had surgery on your stomach, not your cervix. lol

Much more fun than the elliptical and probably burn off more of those liquid calories. You go girl!!!! Becky

I was told 2 weeks... same as any other exercise.

Lol, they told me 4 weeks too and I only lasted 1. I was careful and cautious but it was fine. Didn't hurt at all. Not sure why they tell you that. And hey, it does burn a few calories! Good luck!
