Had my lapband in 08...and i jus had a baby via c-section on 03/30/10....the problem im havin in indegestion, heartburn and some pain in my stomach and port side...could my band have moved due to my c-section or could it be my galbladder? I can def feel my food goin down when i eat and sometimes i feel like i have restriction (but i had all my fluid removed at 4 weeks preggo) the pain hurts so bad that it radiates from back to my stomach (kinda like contractions) can anyone give my any input..i have a doctors appt on fri and will call my bnad doc and make an appt there 2

Hi everyone! just checkin in my c-section is April 8th and i hope i go before that date because im miserable....too date ive gained 22 lbs which is awesome i feel like i cant eat anymore lik eim runnin out of room! how is everyone doin....ur babies must be gettin so big by now! Good luck to all

Im 32 weeks prego and have gained 15lbs....ive been doin real good...guess it all depends on the person....no1 can tell im 8 months pregnant which makes me sad but o well 7 more weeks and its over...havin my C-section April 8th

im 29 weeks and have gained 10 lbs so far..i go back thurs for my checkup will let u know if i gained anymore

good luck on ur journey...the reason i got the band was to have a 2nd child....everyone has different reasons why they want to lose weight....when the time comes and u get pregnant jus take it easy...i got a complete unfill 4 weeks into my pregnancy and have only gained 10lbs (im currently 29 weeks)...im sure ull do fine and as soon an the baby comes u can go back to ur band ways....good luck

I agree..i got a total unfill because i was worried about complications and i didnt want them to keep stickin me with that needle....also what if u get further along and are filled and have to keep gettin emergency unfills thats not good for u or ur baby....i jus hope nothin happens to my band as my belly gets bigger...my port side is really startin to hurt!

Hey Abby! I had my band unfilled when i was 4 weeks preggo....since my last ob visit (at the end of nov) i only gained 5lbs..food sometimes hurts goin down dependin on what i eat (mainly doughy food)...evethough i dont have a fill i still have some restriction (not like before tho) i know what u mean about carbs i crave them all the time...hopefully i dont gain to much weight (im halfway done!) hope all is well with u! -Cindy

Hey Guys! Just an update had my 20 week ultrasound today and they told me its a girl!!! she's measurin alittle small but they told me not to worry and they will rescan me in 4 weeks for growth...the doctor told me he has faith that the baby will grow in 4 weeks!! hope everyone is doin well!

Hey Laura, I know how u feel.. i had all my Fluid removed when i was 4 weeks prego because of dry heaves! now im 16 weeks and feel so much better! good luck

i know what u all mean with keepin food in ur belly...if i dont eat like every 2 hrs i get real nauseaus its disgusting...i have only thrown up twice in 15 weeks which isnt bad...when i got pregnant i was 208 now im 203 which isnt too bad....cant wait to look pregnant this time around with my son i was just fat...i hope this time is different i want to have the cute belly (ok it may not be that cute but i want a belly lol)...4 more weeks and i can find out what im havin yay! hows every1 doin with pregnancy? how are the girls who already gave birth doin? hope all is well with everyone!

hi..i take 2 flinestones chewables a day (both by band doc and obgyn said its as good as a prenatal vitamin) i did get all my fluid removed at 4 weeks because of dry heaves and nasueau...good luck

i just went for my 12 week check up..my doctor told me not to get the swine flu shot he doesnt believe in the vaccine yet...but he did tell me to get my flu shot! she can call he obgyn and ask them at what point inher pregnancy can she get a flu shot

Ok so im 12 weeks pregnant had my fill removed at 4 weeks and am suffering from indigestion...its so bad that it radiates into my upper back anyone every has this? I am very picky with food now since i got pregnant i def dont like meat or chicken so im tryin to get my protein somewhere else but what ever i eat gives me indigestion....i take tums and pepcid that dont help and my upper/mid back hurts so bad i keep puttin a heating pad on it...can it be my band? or is this because im pregnant?

Ill be 3 months next week and i went and got all my fluid removed when i was 4 weeks pregnant because i was dry heaving and had such bad nauseau....how much fluid do u have in ur band? i would remove all fluid u could mess ur band up dont forget ur body changes when u become pregnant...once i got my fluid removed i started feeling alittle bit better...maybe u should talk to ur lapband doc and see what they say...good luck

So i had my ultrasound on 9/8/09 and everything went well i thought i was 8 weeks and 6 days but the baby measured 9 weeks and 2 days so my new due date is April 11th, 2010...The heartbeat was nice and strong at 180 beats...cant wait for my next ultrasound to find out what we are havin!! Hope all u mommy's and mommy's to be are doin great!

When i found out i was preggers i decided it was best for me to have all my fluid removed...ill be 9 weeks tomorrow have no fluid in my band and still dont eat a lot (not that i feel restriction) im just not hungry to eat like i used 2..i think when u get pregnant and ur hormones change its a good idea to remove all ur saline have ur baby and start over again when the baby is born it wont do any harm (the weight we are gaining is baby weight)...good luck to everyone

Hi congrats! Im 7 weeks preggo with my 2nd child (1st band baby) i went and got a total unfill because of severe naseau...the pain u may be feeling could be associated with getting pregnant too early before your officially healed ( dont quote me on that one)...tummy pain is normal i had all the cramping til 6 weeks as long as ur not bleeding ur ok...i go for my 8 week check up on sept 2nd i cant wait...good luck hope this helps

wow hopefully both of ur bands are ok...ididnt know that could happen..the doctors make it seem like havin a band baby is easy...i had all my fill removed and my nasaeu subsided which is great...my doc told me i can get a small fill as long as im not vomitting...let us know how ur bands turn out...heather if it did slip and it doesnt correct itself would u get another band or remove it? same with u fairy would u get another band?

i would wait to see how u feel 1st...i have 5cc's in my 10cc band and since im in the mornin sickness stage im gettin some fill removed becuase i dont feel good i have real bad dry heaves! so i would wait to see how ur body reacts to the prgnancy 1st

ok girls im haivn a real problem with dry heaves and real bad naseua I go on monday to see my band doctor to get some fill removed...do u think i should just get it all removed or do a little at a time? the dry heaves are killin me i wish i could just throw up already

I dont have any advice for u except take it easy and be careful..hopefully everything works out for u good luck

I feel u all....before i found out i was pregnant i had 5.25cc in my band and i got some fluid removed now i have 5cc's and am eatin like a horse...as of right now i def dont need to get unfilled because nothin is gettin stuck and i feel fine...anyone keep their fill in there whole pregnancy?? or is it just to early for my band to get tight?
