How much have you lost July Butterfllies??

I saw a similar thread by the May bandsters. I think the Butterflies should let each other know how much we lose! I know that the month isn't over yet, but those of us that are banded, or are doing preop diets should have somewhere to share our success!!!

I'll start. I have lost 13.5 lbs. since starting the preop diet!!!:thumbup:;)

Please share!!

Started pre-op diet June 30 and lost 14 ponds by op day.

Op day was July 15 and last weighed on July 25 for a total of 24 pounds down. Will weigh again on Wednesday. My first post-op dr. appt. is that day. Having some trouble with port site. Hope it isn't too serious. Loving my band!! Oh, and congrats to all of you!!!

I'm almost embarrassed to state that I only lost 10 lbs total and then it looks like I put 1.5 back on just yesterday! I lost most of it in the first week and today is day 12 post op and I haven't lost anything in over a week. I did not go on a post-op diet so had no post-op weight loss. Although I have not had a fill yet, I am still only taking in between 800-1200 calories per day and some days a lot less than that. I guess I'm just a slow loser.

Be careful of going too low in calories- it will put your body in starvation mode, and you will stop losing. 800-1200 is a good goal. Try hard to get in your calories for the day. I know it's a struggle but it will help!!

Hi, my surgery was 7/1/08 and I am down 16 lbs.! Just had my first fill, so I'm on full liquids again. Can't wait to continue the loss!

I am down 12 lbs since my July 2 surgery date. I guess that is pretty good. Seems that since I started eating solid food, my weight loss has slowed down a bit. Is this happening to any one else? I don't get my first fill until Aug. 19 and I think I'm ready for it. My appetite is slowly starting to come back.

My ticker is up-to-date. 10 pounds of that is pre-op the rest is since 7/14. I have no desire to eat whatsoever. I'm just eating to live. What a great fantastic splendid hysterical crazy thing!
