  1. Hi Cyndi - Sorry to hear your news. You are the second Vermonter I know who this has happened to. Only you can decide if it is worth doing again. Or, look at other options like the gastric sleeve, or do nothing. I'm not sure what I would do. I was banded in July 2008 and I have ony lost 20 lbs. It is a daily struggle. Good luck with your decision. Do you go to the monthly support group? There might be some advice there.
  2. Hi everyone - I just finished my first week of morning exercising. It's hard getting up but I like having it done. Need to keep it up. Hope everyone has a good weekend!
  3. Happy Mother's Day to all you moms! I just finished my first week of early morning workouts. It's tough getting up, but having it done has been great. I like not having to think about it at the end of the day. Hope everyone has a good weekend. Kathy
  4. Meredith - What a great idea about the Pandora bracelet. I have one too. Setting a goal like you suggest sounds fun and worth the effort! Kathy
  5. I had the same problems. It sounds like you are too tight. You should have some taken out. Even the slightest amount will help you.
  6. Hi everyone - checking in. I decided to change my exercise routine a little. I'm going in the am now, instead of after work. So, right now I could fall asleep at my desk! I guess it takes getting used to the change.
  7. Julie - Hang in there! Hope it goes well with the doc. Linda - congrats on a great loss! Tonight I'm getting together with some of my LB support group members. We're eating out and sharing tips for making the best eating out decisions. Should be good. - Kathy
  8. Hi Janet - Just back from a week in Hilton Head, SC. It was vacation... hard to be back. Next appt is 5/23 where we will re-evaluate a fill. Slow going as always, but not giving up! Kathy
  9. Hi everyone - I'm back from a week away. 1day - I am so with you on bad eating. And, like you I have decided to be accountable for it. New day, new outlook. cryz - I'll take that kick too! Thanks for the pep talk!
  10. Hi everyone - Just checking in to let you know I'm still around. Nothing new to report. Reading the threads. It's good to be connected even though I don't post much. Kathy
  11. I use Facebook for other stuff, but there are many of LBT'ers on it as well. I also pop in and out of the 50's thread and see the same people so maybe some have just drifted to this thread and away from 50's.
  12. Hi everyone - Good to get caught up. I had 1 cc removed yesterday. Pretty bummed about it, but I'm hoping it will keep things from getting stuck. I also just got the book "Mindful Eating". It looks pretty good. I'll let you know how it is.
  13. I just can't keep up with you gals! So many posts...
  14. Hi everyone - I've been away for awhile. Like many of you struggling with no weight loss - my own fault. Back to very bad habits. So, I need to give myself a big kick in the butt. Orea - glad to hear your recovery is going well. lovegrapes - hang in there. Hopefully your surgery will be resecheduled soon. Are there any challenges going on right now? I could use one!
  15. Hi Janet & everyone - Just checking in. I'm back in town for Easter, then will be traveling again next week. No real change with weight loss. Seeing the doc on 4/13. Anxious to find out what's next. I love reading the posts. Wish I could contribute more, but you all are great. Thanks for keeping this thread going. Kathy
