UPMC denied ME!!!!!!

Hello

I am so upset. I had my surgery date set for July 29. They called me today and said I was denied because over the 6 months I gained 8 pounds and I am not allowed to again 1 oz. BUT at the doctors office they kept telling me not to worry that they would fix the numbers for me, but I guess the girl that sends in the paper work didn't get that message. I called in an appeal today, but they told me at the doctors office that it is usually denied. I am so devastated, I am done everything, all my tests, classes, and not to mention all the money in copays, and all the extra money since I have a crappy 80/20 plan. Oh any advice???????
