Just banded 2 days ago

Hello all! My name is Alicia, I am in Richmond, VA and I was banded at St. Mary's Hospital on July 15 by Dr. David Elliott who is a doctor in the Richmond Surgical Group. I weighed 300 lbs going into this thing and I hope to drop at least 100 lbs. I am 5'10'' so I'm fairly tall, but just weigh too much.

Now that all of that is out of the way, I must say that the worse part of this is the gas. I mean I can hear the gas rumbling through my stomach and it is quite unnerving. Im new to this whole forum thing but I have alot of questions.:confused2:

Emily111,

That is awesome that we are in about the same place in our journey. I would love to keep in touch and see how we are both progressing. It is always nice to compare with someone similar in journey's. I am also on www.obesityhelp.com under azoreangal. I frequent the lap-band forum and texas and main forum. So if you are ever over there drop by and say hi. Also there is a light weight forum for people with our starting weight. I have added you to my friends. Marilia

:tt2: im going to drop by and check it out
