I'm a little insane when it comes to the format of my "food journal" .

I am the same way but I can't log into anything not workrelated at my job. I try to write stuff down but then forget or don't do it all together. Excuses I know.

Hello everyone, I waving from over here in Southern California ). Penny, this is a great idea!

I'm 37, I was banded in July '08. At that time I weighed in at 198 lbs just pre-op.It might not seem alot, but I'm only 5' tall ( or short ) LOL. I work as a diagnostic medical sonographer, I have been doing that for 11 years now. I am divorced, no kids, with a wonderful boyfriend who loved me before I had my Lap-band . Now he makes me feel like a woman in a Benny Hill Show episode. Ive lost 35 lbs so far. This past year I have been on a plateau. I think I just became bored with the limited choices I was giving myself, so I started on the slippery road to slider food. But Im getting back on track, I want to start my own family and getting to my goal weight will make that much easier.

  • After you create your ticker, copy the forum code; it will be the first code at the bottom of the page when you finish making the ticker;
  • then paste this code into the edit signature box.
  • Click preview signature and it should show up.
  • If it is correct, then save it.

How's it going crz? I am in a slump . I started this new medication and my bp is low and pulse is high. I cut the dose yesterday and that might be what I needed. It sure helps with the pain.

Anyway, my weight loss is in the crapper! I have not given up though. I think I might do some Protein Shakes for a quick start. Sure, wish it would warm up so I could get back to walking.

Oh, Earth Grains is making thin Buns. They are bigger than the Sandwich thins and still only a hundred calories. I am gonna use them for mini pizzas. Toast them, pizza sauce and some cheese. Ought to be good and low in calories.

Hey, Charlene, I hope cutting the dosage fixes the problem.

I am still not gaining, but not losing either. I joined the gym and have started walking there. Hopefully, it will help. I make the little pizzas with the sandwich thins, pizza quick sauce and some low fat mozzarella cheese. I toast the bread first, fix it, then pop them into the oven. My whole family loves them.

Hang in there, Charlene, we can do this!

I bought the stuff for the pizza's , but I haven't made them. Gonna do it this week.

Yeah, I am disgusted with my no losing and I did gain at Christmas. I am going to do some Protein Shakes instead of meals. Probably will do them for Breakfast or lunch. I just have to eat a meal in the evening.

As far as the pizza goes, I don't do bread that well so I got this recipe off a site just can't remember which one right now But here goes: Take a boneless skinless chicken breast pound it flat rub with Itailian seasoning bake at 400 for 15 to 20 min. remove from oven put pizza sauce on it and top w/ff mozz. and what ever toppings you like on your pizza, the recipe called for pepperoni, but I use mushrooms, return to oven until cheese is melted. No bread and lots a Protein.

I'm also trying to shake a 3lb gain from the Holidays. Sure wish I could reach goal before the 2yr mark.

I never pounded the chicken breast flat, but I have made chicken that way. This bread we are talking about is like flatbread. I can only eat half a slice or I will get stuck.

I can eat croutons or garlic bread if it is really toasted good. but I don't need the calories.

I started over. I am back to my old avatar and I don't have a ticker. Protein Shake tomorrow.

I don't tolerate bread to well either but sometimes I just crave pizza. I eat bagel bites pizza from ore ida. I can eat 2-3 without any problem. They have an ok amount of Protein per serving but they taste good.

Isn't it odd the stuff we can and cannot eat? I have no problem with crackers but the bread is just to soft, I never tried toast I've just gotten use to no bread. I do think I want to try the bagle bites. And Charlene, Why no ticker? are you just starting over? I'm going to join you with the shakes at least for a jump start. I'll have one for breakfast and one for dinner, I like to make my lunch my biggest meal for 2 reasons first I don't have to go without to food to long that makes it easier for me and 2nd my hubby works alot and dinner is often late this way I don't eat right before I go to bed. I'll let you know how I fair.

Kimaly, yes, I am starting over. I went back to my old avatar and no ticker. I will put one up after I get off this Christmas weight I gained. I am going to the doctor in February and get a tweak in my band.

I also need to get a tweek, I would like to lose a few more lbs before I go in, I know it's dumb but I'm a little uncomfortable as I'm only a total of 4lbs down with the 3lb gain at Christmas since my last fill in July. I was doing the Christmas weightloss challange and lost 3lbs but between the week before and now I've gained it back. I guess I just made to much candy for the grandkids for Christmas, Munch, munch, munch

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
