...eating off the kids' menu at the fast food restaurants is MORE than enough food!

...your clothing doesn't 'shrink' in the dryer any more, now it's all getting too big no matter HOW many times you run it through the dryer! :crying:

...you actually look FORWARD to getting on a plane for vacation because now you'll have room in the seat to move around!

...when you are trying on clothes in the fitting room and crying happy tears because you fit into a size you have seen since your teens! :crying:

...when all-you-can-eat buffets are now an ENORMOUS waste of your time and money, so you just don't go! :P

...when buying clothes in the cheap stores is no longer an issue because you're going to out-lose them in a few weeks anyway, so why spend a lot? :)

...when you're getting to be an expert at posting clothes for sale on EBay or Craigslist because your size keeps getting smaller...

Trying to figure out what size of clothes to by like should I get a med or large. Also when you are almost able to wear the same size as the teenagers in the house and you get the laundary all mixed up.

Have a great 4th.

You know you're a bandster when...

1) you buy chocolate chewable Multivitamins just to get some chocolate

2)a loveseat is a place you and your spouse can cuddle instead of just being a chair for you...

3)you eat a Jelly Belly jelly bean in your favorite soda flavor because you miss your Dr. Pepper..

4)when you dont consider candy orange slices a part of the fruit group...

You increase the fuel miles on your car or truck because of less weight.

You medical costs go down and insurance does down as well.

When you get stuck and PB from a piece of meat that you just toothpicked out of your teeth and swallowed. This actually happened to me today.

1.When you put your jeans in the dryer on purpose.

2. when you are shopping and trying on clothes you have to go back out to the rack for smaller sizes.

6.asking the salesgirls in shops does this come in an 8?

3. when you have to TRY to get in enough calories.

4. when you go out for ice cream and wonder if the baby cone is too big.

5. when you have emergency PB bags stashed everywhere instead of emergency bags of potato chips.< /p>

...or when you order NO drink in a restaurant and the server looks at you funny and asks (in that "you are strange sort of way") "Are you SURE I can't bring you a glass of Water? ???"

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
