well im not at the half way mark yet, but it is awesome to know you no longer have over a hundred pounds to loose!

my scale hasn't moved in the past week or so, but that's totally my fault, i haven't been to the gym...hopefully i can get my booty in gear this coming week! :crying:

Hi May sisters (and brothers?),

Yesterday was my 5 month anniversary..down 62 lbs and 15 to go! (doc only wants me to lose another 5..I want 10 more than that)

Isn't this thing amazing? The real test will be NEXT year, when we are all STAYING at goal!

Mominlv, my band, Philip (fill up) says hi to Loooooosie!

Carrie--I am fortunate that I am retired and live in a VERY active gated community. I have time to devote to lots of exercise. Yesterday I did 30 minutes on the elliptical and then a Water aerobics class. Today was a tai chi class and then an hour of Zumba.

I really think THAT makes such a difference....and I am careful what I eat (which is occasionally a cookie!)

Don't give up--try to add movement to your day!

74.6, Oh I want that 75 so bad. Maybe I can lost .4 tomorrow!!! It feels so good to be closer to my goal than closer to my start weight! My goal is 65 more but my surgeon said he'd be happy with 50 more.

I can't remember when I weighed this amount last...180!!!!! Maybe I was 12, 13??? I know I was at 200 by age 15.

Anyways....up to 4.5cc's in a 10cc band. I walk 2.5 miles in 45mins 5-6 days a week plus do strength exercises.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
