:frown:I am getting so frustrated...I haven't lost any weight in almost a month. I have teetered from gaining +/- 2 lbs. I haven't had a fill yet and was banded on June 3 of this year...but I still have restriction at times. I can't ever eat breakfast...to tight so I was drinking the equate brand shakes and added a banana and splenda with a dash of vanilla and blend up with ice for bfst...but I think maybe that was actually hurting me..I don't know I just know I am not losing. I have started walking 3 times a week and walk a min. of 2 miles..and thought that would help my flatline of weightloss..but it hasn't touched the scale. Pelple are telling me they think I have lost more, but I can't see it..at all. That ole'belly is still hanging low low low..hahaha. I am kind of afraid to get a fill because I am feeling restriction, but I know I am able to eat more then I should...but am afraid once I get the fill it will be horrible. I do PB and slime still and so I don't want to make it worse. Any help from someone has been there would be greatly appreciated...Thanks guys....

:)I have been there, and I can sympathize with you. Start writing down everything you put in your mouth...sometimes we are eating more than we think. Also, are you eating slow enough and taking small enough bites? Keep up the walking, maybe pick up the pace some and the amount you are walking. Just keep at it, you will get there!

Good luck, Joanie ) :tt2:

I started the daily plate.com and wow I was eating to many calories..and didn't even realize it. I still need a fill because the hunger pangs are coming back..and that is why I am eating because I am feeling hunger. I have added some jogging..and I use that loosly.....more like a FAST walk..hahaha. I am going to schedule my fill and go from there. Thanks for the Dailyplate info. It really has helped me shed some light on my choices...amazing...and to think I was eating like 3 times that before..no wonder I was FAT now I am just a little chubby..or so I like to think....at anyrate it will be weight I will never see again. Adios for good.

I had never heard of thedailyplate.com . I am going to that site now and see what it's all about. I'm pretty sure that I'm eating more than I should be, even though i try to keep track of everything.

Thanx!!! Joanie )

Hey, all~

It's been a while, but wanted to check in with you all & see how everyone is doing! It's been a pretty amazing journey thus far. I'm hovering right at around teh 200# mark & eager to break that barrier (201.3 to be exact). Anyway, would love to hear how the May 2008 bandsters are doing :wink2: Take care all!!!

I didn't lose any weight for a whole month. 2 fills later I am beginning to lose again. Down about 36 since surgery but overall down 70 from high point. Now if I lose another 100 I'll be sizzling hot :wink2:

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
