  3. Wow. I'll be lucky if I lose 70lbs my first year. You truly are an inspiration. congrats
  4. Boy I'm barely at 50lb's lost Not overeating working out andam lucky if I lose .5lb a week. I must be doing something wrong. Congrats FRAN!!!
  5. You are fortunate to be losing and only having had 2 fills. I am on my 7th fill and still having problems losing weight. I'm down about 48lbs in 8 months. Congrats on your super loss.
  6. Let me join the slow to no loser parade I gained a pound this past month... that really sucks!!!! I am at my wits end.
  7. I suck... only 45lb's since surgery and now only 44lbs I ganed a lb this last month aagghh!!!!
  8. Hi, I have been having a problem trying to get adjusted to a good fill. I am tight but able to eat a cup of food generally. As long as I chew enough and don't eat rice or pasta. The problem is I get hungry very often so eat too much throughout the day. Just not at one sitting. I've lost about 45lbs since May 19th. But gained 1 lb over the last month. Need advice. Elaine
  9. I'm happy to see everyone doing so well!!! Merry Merry to all of you. good luck with the cookies through the holidays.
  10. I have most definitely has refills after unfills. Probably at least 3 times. As you lose weight or your body adjusts tothe fill I find I can always then eat more than I should. Still trying to get to the sweet spot. currently 11.8cc's in a 14 cc band.
  11. Me too I have independence BC/BS and live in Az whole process took less than a month from approval to surgery. Approval given right away with the proper documentation.
  12. Wow 65 lbs i'm jealous!! I exercise most days. Have fills it seems just about every other week m tight for a week or so then whammo hungry again. Glad to say that right now I'm in a tight phase. Hope I find that sweet spot soon. Elaine
  13. I didn't lose any weight for a whole month. 2 fills later I am beginning to lose again. Down about 36 since surgery but overall down 70 from high point. Now if I lose another 100 I'll be sizzling hot :wink2:
  14. No pre op diet for me. But I had already been losing weight ahead of time on my own
  15. It has happened to me twice. both times I've had to get unfills and have been perfect immediately afterwards. Unfortunately even though the unfill still leaves me with more than when I started I am still hungry. It is certainly not an exact science. Last time I was travelling the next day and ended up having to go to an er in a different state for an unfill. i think I'm going to start getting 1 to 1.5 cc's fills at a time even if that means I have to get them every other week,
  16. So i went back to the Doc today had him remove 1.5cc leaving the additional 2 in and now I'm fun can eat and drink again. so I'm definitely going to have to gettopped off agian. Think I'll wait a least a couple of weeks though. Thanksfor the help.
