Drum roll please!!! Refilled and feeling better already. The Drs at Wake Forest Baptist are so much nicer. See you when you need to be seen and took care of the problem right away. Let the right sizing and losing begin

So now I am 7 days post unfill and have gained 18lbs... The Doctor I saw Dr Dasher has a fill clinic 1 x a month and it is this Monday but the clinic is full so they won't see me for 1 more month. Told me to police myself. I am and am still gaining every day. Called the only other Dr in Greensboro and they could not see me until July 17th. Finally found Wake Forest Medical Center in Winston Salem and they are going to see me tomorrow. Please tell me I am not wrong to want this taken care of immediately.Elaine

Yes was definitely too tight ... Dr said when I asked for .5 cc out that 2 cc's came out without him doing anything so they must need to come out then he added the .5 I had asked for. He also said he rarely does lapbands as they don't work for most people and I am the exception. I am not eating 11000 calories a day or in 3 days if I have learned anything on this journey it is too eat sensibly. Yes I can eat more and right now I am hungry maybe 1 hour after eating. I just hope he will see me and put fluid back in next week.. This is just too scary.

I just experienced the same thing except 10lbs in 3 days... I am so panicked right now. i cannot wait for monday to get here. I have never lost weight counting calories and always eat low carb.. Ahi tuna appetizer last night and 3 chicken wings = 5lb weight gain this morning Help!!!

Went to new Doc (moved0 after 1.5 yrs to get .2 cc ouit of my band. He took out 2.5 cc's said that is what needed to come out in 3 days I have gained nearly 10lbs... not overeating. but nio restriction at all. Is this normal. I wnated to gain a little back. But think I should get a least 2cc's put back in asap. looking for opinions... elaine

am currently way in the red zone and recently moved to NC the DR I found refused to take ANY liquid out of my band until I had an upper GI then they have some crazy rule that they do fills 1x a month. I travel and the day they do it will rarely work for me. When they did the upper GI (Monday) they said my band was way over restricted and that the radiologist would call the surgeon to see if they could get me in before this Thursday... no call from my surgeons office. Knowing my luck I will go tomorrow and he will not listen to me and want to take too much out. I am in High Point NC and the Dr is Dr Dasher.. does anyone know any Doc's in this area who understand the lap band and don't put ridiculous restrictions on you. I have had by band for 5 years lost over 160 lbs. feel like I know what I need as unfill and don't like waiting more than 2 weeks to meet some Docs crazy schedule to get help

I've kept myself really tight pre op was 318 now at 161... Thinking another 20 and I may be at my personal goal. That being said it's been really slow going for me....

Hi, Just wanted to say I was banded by DR Johnson last May and my total experience with him and all his staff has been excellent. If my band has been either too tight or to loose he or his staff have always been there to lend a helping hand. As surgeons go Dr Johnson takes the time to get to know you and care about your journey. Elaine

Boy I'm barely at 50lb's lost Not overeating working out andam lucky if I lose .5lb a week. I must be doing something wrong. Congrats FRAN!!!

You are fortunate to be losing and only having had 2 fills. I am on my 7th fill and still having problems losing weight. I'm down about 48lbs in 8 months. Congrats on your super loss.

Let me join the slow to no loser parade I gained a pound this past month... that really sucks!!!! I am at my wits end.
