"Here is Princess_n_Thep remarks on this picture"

princess_n_thep:

THESE PICTURES ARE 12 DAYS POST OP!

Both pictures show the very minmal scars/incisions. The bruising I had was very minimal. The brown/yellow rings you see around the actual incisions is NOT bruising but is the leftover "superglue" still. I take a shower EVERY day and wash them but they are slow to come off. From what I gather, they "glue" the incisions, let that dry, then put a "coating of glue" over and around the incisions again. The scab had just fallen off on the top incision so it is a little pink, my bra had scuffed it off. The only real bruising i got was the one top of the belly button. The one that was the most sore was the longer port incision.

I am VERY happy with the size of them and the expertise in the cut! I know that I am a fast healer but I expect that I would be hard pressed to find the smaller ones in 6 months. I will just keep posting updates on this thread as I go along. I plan to take another picture at 6-8 weeks post op, another at 6 mo, then another at a year.

ENJOY MY BELLY!!!!!!!!

Good job Nana, I don't mind at all! Yep, but if you can cut and paste into the original message my "information" about my incisions I would appreciate it! It really does look like bruising and isn't.

And I think it is important to note that this is MY belly, it kinda sounds like your 12 day post op pic.

And I must say, wha a pretty belly you have! I would NEVER guess that you are 215!

And bandit, does that mean I look like crap? ha ha ha

Jenna, your scars look good, try using a little rubbing alchol it will take some of the yellow and sticky stuff off around the outside of the incision. I used it on mine at 2 weeks post op and they cleaned up beautifully and Nana You do look great at 215, would of never thunk.

Jenna, I know this may sound funny, but where are your boobs? Are you lying down taking that pic?

The scar that is highest on my stomach is kind of thick, should I put Mederma on it to help it heal flush to the skin, its starting to worry me, and my scars are still pink, I had my suregry in Nov., should they still be pink or should they have turned white already?

I am holding up Laverne and Shirley (my boobies) in the pic. And it is very close up. Plus, they are still perky and dont hang much at a DD.

Sexy panties probably would help ha ha. But alas, I can't be outdone!! Next time I will put on da' thonggggg! Watch out!

Have you changed the batteries in your scales lately, I think they must be stuck, I can't believe you weight 215. Looking good!

Oh yea, I used goop off to get my tape residue off. Just go lightly with it and don't get it in your incisions.

Jenna yours look like they will be perfect in just a few weeks - I can't believe how fast they are healing!!

Nana- Well DAM Girl - Yours scars are the very last thing anyone would be looking at;0) You look Smashing! Is the port # 4 on you-I am just wondering if thats the one. I can see its the same spot has Jennas but can barely tell? Is it #4?

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
