I can't seem to talk myself into feeling like the weight loss right now is a bonus! I should take my own advice, huh? I was doing so well, but now I'm just stuck. WHY???? I need to somehow kick it back into gear, but I don't know what I'm doing wrong or different.

I lost three more pounds this week for a total of 18.5 since pre-op (first week in April)! I'll take that. While it's not a ton of weight, I'm actually loosing a lot of inches which is all I really care about anyway. I've lost a total of 6.5 inches (boobs, waist, and hips)! I actually have clothes that fit!! Congrats to all you other loosers! We're doing great!

I'm stuck. I haven't lost or gained anything in a week and a half. At least I haven't gained. Moved up to soft foods - fill is less than a week away - and I can't wait to see how this thing works.

L2L: Ummmm, I think your body is probably in shock because you've lost SO MUCH WEIGHT!!!! You are a rock star! Let your body catch up and you'll be losing again in no time.

Hey, you need to let me catch up to you. I thought we were band buddies! You can't lose more than me sooner than me! LOL

Turler - you know you will catch up with me. You lucky dog! You got your fill early...I'm still so jealous! <see - green with envy> I have six more days - I am getting to love these little count downs. It gives me something to look forward to. I'm on soft foods now - so I think I've confused it again...lol...hopefully I'll have a drop any day now. My scale is like a yo-yo right now...and YES, I am still addicted to my scale!

Yeah...maybe we have 'Transfer Addiction' to our scales! LOLOLOL I just crack myself up! But really, I knew I couldn't stay away from the scale, but it's really not hurting me so far. I actually think looking at it every day keeps me in line. I am a 'gotta know' kinda girl.

You are so far ahead of me already in the pounds lost department! I am so proud of you! I'll bet you look great!

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
