Anyone need size 22?

Recommended Posts

I'm packing up some clothes this weekend. DeLarla's getting my 18/20 tall stuff (jeans, etc); Kyleigh's getting 18/20 summer stuff. I gave away most of my size 24s. But I still have a few size 22 things I'd be happy to send to a bandster. These are not gorgeous items, just basics, including a couple of pairs of shorts, although I may finally part with the slinky lycra-blend pants and tops that have seen me through the last 50 lbs., and somewhere in the basement I have a decent Elisabeth linen suit, size 22 I think, that never looked good on me at any size but was at an irresistible sale price.

Please note that I am taller than the average bear, long-legged and pear-shaped -- not that my tank tops won't fit you, but consider yourselves forewarned. If you want a box o'stuff, let me know. And when you shrink further, you can give it all to someone else!

You know... I was tempted to jump on this when I realized this is my size NOW... I need to focus on the next size down.... woo-hoo! And I should follow your lead and start going through and get rid of some stuff...

That is so generous of you to offer.... thank you anyway.

You must be a great person...

Thank you, Zoe. I went shopping today since all I wear are hand me downs. I'm right inbetween an 18 and 20. So I bought one of each. I can actually sqeeze into an 18 (thunk, head just hit the floor.) I came home so motivated that I harnessed up the pooches and took a kick butt walk to the park, did weights and I'm downing extra Water.

Thanks for the clothes, thank you thank you. I wish hubby would get off the couch and take me dancing in my new pants. Dream on. Babs, come back!

Way to go, Emmy and D! My black jeans are on the way. I think they're a 20 tall... I wash them in hot Water for maximum shrinkage, so they might fit. If you know anyone looking for 22s, let me know.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
