Health Alliance Plan-Michigan

I called and emailed HAP and they said they do not cover Lap-Band, but they do cover gastic bypass surgery. They mailed me some info and it contains covered CPT codes. I don't know if I'm missing something or what, but a covered code is #43770- Laparoscopy, surgical, gastric restrictive procedure; placement of adjustable gastric restrictive device(e.g.,gastric band and subcutaneous port components). Now I know I've seen on here that the CPT code is 43770. Am I mistaken in thinking this IS actually covered according to their info they sent me? I'm new to this and so confused!:confused2:
