STRESS EXPRESS stress eating

Thank god my next fill is tomorrow. As per usual i have been starving for around 5 days pre next fill. I am an emotional eating machine right now...

My 2 1/2 yr old niece had emergency exploratory surgery last night due to a perforated bowel or other in her abdomen. at baseline she is a special needs child.

both her parents are terribly sick with a GI bug as well as one of the other children.

My DH stays at home with our youngest, but today had our oldest with a sore throat and 102+ fever....I feel like i'm the last one standing. Soa after work i went to the pediatric ccu to be with my niece for awhile...i feel so badly for my sis in law how awful to be kept from your child by your own illness.....None of this is lap band related except that i fell back on food as comfort for my very overwhelmed and exhausted feeling..

In short my fill tomorrow will help get me grounded and reaching out to our wider support here will help me to get out of my food=comfort.. i want to be back to..food=nutrition so that i eat to live, not live to eat

Whew thanks for the shoulder i needed that:rolleyes:
