Water not going down is definitely a symptom that one needs an unfill.

Fills can indeed be very tricky and vary a lot from person to another.

hope you'll feel better soon,

I had my 3rd fill yesterday and it is the first time I have had restriction since my banding in Sept.07. I have not been able to really keep anything down other than some Water. However, I did keep a small yogurt down. Is my fill too tight? I really don't want to have any removed if I knew that it would loosen up a little. Any suggestions or advice would be most appreciated. Thanks

I would call and discuss it with your doc ?

My doc keeps me on liquids for 6 days post fill so the swelling goes down .

So i would call the doc it does sound like you could be too tight.

Thanks. I am doing a little better and was able to hold down about a half cup of mashed potatoes today. I think I was maybe over-reacting. However, I will call if I throw up again. BTW, I see several banders talking about something called "PB"....what does that mean?

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
