You are right and I am wrong. It is not technically speaking a sound bite but it is presented in an inflamnatory fashion thanks to the voice-over.

{whispering} I found several YouTube clips that had that quote in there. I chose the one that happened to also be a pro-life commercial, just cuz I could. There are plenty of other clips on YouTube of the exact same statement that don't have the pro-life message in the voice-over

Your welcome, green. That is why I posted the speech, so others could read what else he said.

That being said, I don't really care, I am still voting for him. There are a lot more important issues in this country other than abortion. We are at war, our economy is terrible, so many people are losing their homes, millions don't have health insurance. I think Obama could make a change, especially when it comes to women's health. I don't really agree with late term abortions, but what is the alternative? Vote for Mccain, just because he is prolife? No thanks.

Carrie I'm not voting for Senator Obama in spite of his views on women's rights, I agree with him that this is not a cut and dried issue. It is a very complicated issue that makes it imperative that we keep women's right to choose legal.

He understands about the Consitutionality of women having the right to have control over their bodies and the unconstitutionality of other people wanting to exert their own control over women's bodies. He has been willing to be open and honest about his views on this issue and he is willing to go to bat for women's rights.

He will not be deterred by someone in the back of the room shouting, baby killer! He knows that Roe v. Wade is more important than just one side of the question. I know it is offensive to some people that he wants to keep abortion legal, but this issue is something that goes to the very core of women's rights and I am very pleased that we have someone who will stand up for us.

If I were an American citizen I would vote for Obama, too. My brother is and he will be voting for him. As you have so correctly pointed out, abortion is just one of a myriad of issues which currently beset your country. The team, McCain and Palin, which the Republicons have on offer seem to be of no more than average ability and yet they seem emotional, arrogant and set in their ways. Obama, on the other hand, seems to be extremely intelligent, cerebral rather than emotional, and smart enough to know when he does not know something; this is a man who will know when to consult experts, something which is important in any leader but particularly so when this individual will be in charge of a country which is a global super-power.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
