Hi everyone, My name is Terri and I live in a SMALL mountian town in Arizona. I was banded on 11/19/04 I have lost about 35lba. I had my first fill of 3.0cc's on 12/22/04. I felt a little restriction a first but not much. Now I feel NO restriction at all. I am going in for another fill on Tuesday 5th. I haven't gone in sooner because it is a 3 hr drive to get there and the last time I had a fill I got a stress fracture in my foot from standing so long (15 min) in the flo scope. Let me explain why that was tough on me. I have a spinal disease called H.S.P. and I walk with crutches or a walker. My Dr. (Robert Berger) ask me if I though I could stand that long and I said I world give it a try. Well I did it and everything was ok until the next day. went to ER and was told I had a stress fracture. I'm walking again and my Dr. said this time we will do it laying down. (the fill you dirty minds)

Anyway, This has been a great experience and I am very excited about the up and coming NEW ME. I am taking pictures on the 19th of every month to see my progress. Can't wait until I don't take up so much camera space. I have looked at all of your before and after pic. and they are all TERRIFIC!!

Terri - I'm not familiar with that area. We always went to Tucson. My DH Dad lived there and we went out and spent a couple of weeks every year. He has passed away now, so we haven't been there for a couple of years, but he has an Aunt that is pretty special and she is getting old, so we would like to make one more trip to see her.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
