My surgery date is 02/24. I started my preop diet on 2/10, well I fumbled the first 2 days with one meal but followed everything else (protein drinks etc). After that I’ve been on track since. I think I was honestly having a hard time to adjust those first 2 days,
I felt so empty not being able to consume food but I actually feel amazing now on this Pre op diet journey. I’m nervous about the actual surgery operation but I’m ready for the change and outcome! I’ve struggled with weight my entire life and like I tell people all the time it’s not as easy for everyone to lose as everyone’s body is different also with genetics coming into play. Good luck everyone we got this!!

Gm all Sleeve Surgery on 2/17...Start all liquids today and tomorrow..im nervous bout determined ...it just don't feel like im gone be able to handle the pressure... But good luck to everyone...

You got it! I'm in the hospital now, day after surgery. The worst pain I feel is a sore throat and gas chest pain. Stomach is okay. I just wish I could cough to get the phlegm out lol

It's really not so bad! I'm confident the recovery period will take no more than 5 days.

Stay strong everyone. We can do it!

My surgery is also scheduled for 2/24. Pre-op diet for me starts this Thursday. I’m so tired of yo-yo dieting, fasting, low carb, high carb, low fat, Keto, etc. Getting ready for a new start! Good luck for surgery. You got this. We got this!

Hey surgery twin :)!! We got this! I’ll be sure to check up on you the day of!! I’ve tried everything as well; keto, low fat, low carb, etc and they would just make me less motivated because I wouldn’t see much weight loss. Due to trying to prevent hereditary issues, I need this push! New beginnings are coming, good luck on surgery!!

I am anxious to hear from the ones who have had their surgery and would love to know how you are doing. My surgery is scheduled for March 2,2022 and would love to hear your progress. God bless.

I had surgery yesterday. Slept half the day afterwards. Gas bubble in chest, but it’s ok. Incisions hurt but it’s ok. Incisions hurt but not terribly. They’re giving me norco for that. Gave me some other meds in Iv to help with gas.

Good morning, in pre-op. Made it through the 2 weeks of clear liquids. Went from 270 to 255 during the time. Look forward to getting my pre-weight before weight loss become a problem. So glad to be part of this group. I know I’m not alone. May God bless us all.

I also have my sleeve on 2/17. Got my covid test today. Surprisingly I’m not as nervous as I think I should be. We got this!!!

I’m one week post op and feeling good. I’m shocked I feel so well. A little sore but I love the scale. Started my pre op diet at 261. I’m now 236. No more back pains.

My surgery date is 2/22/22. I'm having the gastric bypass. I'm currently on day 8 I think off my liquid diet. I'm miserable, not going to lie. But I have friends rooting me on and family supporting me. Good luck to everyone else who is having their surgery this month!
