It will be 1 year for me on October 18th and I feel great. SW 215 CW 128. I can tolerate most foods. Feel so thankful.

Hi, yes October 21. Start weight 15st 1lb and my current weight is 11 stone 3lb. Id hoped to have lost more but am definitely alot healthier and happier. It's the best thing I've ever done. Any advice on how to kick start the loss again would be much appreciated. I have lost anything in about 6months. Thanks 😊

Are you eating enough calories? Enough Protein? I guess that would be my advice. Make sure you are getting 60-80 grams of protein everyday and making sure you are eating enough. I eat approximately 1300 calories a day and seem to still be losing a pound or two a month.

You will do great! It is so worth it. This last year has flown by so fast and I am so grateful. It’s tough at first, but gets easier every day.

Today makes my 1 year surgery anniversary. SW 235. CW 172. I’m having so many mixed emotions. I know having the surgery has been the key in my weight loss. Im stronger than I’ve ever been. I just ran a 5K nonstop for the first time in my life. And yet I feel like I should be further along. I feel like I’m failing, like I went under the knife and have mediocre results. Anyone else have feelings like this? #isitjustme

I understand. I started at 322. Now at 232. 90 lbs gone. I struggle with mental side of it too. Its hard. But, I want to say. You are doing awesome. It's a lifetime journey. Not a weekend trip. Look at the bigger picture and try to stay focused on the accomplishments you've made. And set goals to stay on track. I still have about 40lbs to go. So this is some of the things I'm doing as well.

I have almost the exact same stats- started at 240, now at 175 a year later. Still losing very slowly - less than a pound a month. While I’m not unhappy with where I’m at, I did hope to lose a little more. And my surgery team would like to see me at a bit lower bmi. At my one year appt Tuesday, they gave me a sample of Mounjaro to try. I am surprised at how much appetite suppression it gives- I feel like the first weeks after surgery, when eating was a chore. I’m pretty sure this is going to kick start the process all over and I would not be surprised to see it become a standard adjunct in bariatric practices as we get further out, stall, slow or regain.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
