I'm 3wks out of a mini bypass on Monday and have only lost 14lbs. It's going a lot slower than I thought it would 😣

I just completed my third week after RNY and I lost 13 lbs. I have not lost at all my third week, I actually gained a pound. The weight will come off.

Feel like I'm going through the week 3 stall this week. Gained a pound since Monday, so frustrating.

I am so thankful to have found this app! I am also at the 3 week stall & was getting so frustrated! I mean, to see the scale actually go up a few pounds rather than down was pretty discouraging .. glad to know that this is normal. I am also noticing that my body is changing even if the scale isn’t. 😊

@Sabs211 I went up 3lbs last week and am now back down 1lb. Time to stay off the scale for a week or so.. that’s my plan anyway..

My stall is over! I lost 1.5lbs this week. A lot less than hoped but I'll take it.

So frustrating to not see the scale move but glad it's finally shifting :)

4wks post op today and healing nicely.

I know what you mean. I gained 3 lbs last week, but then I read the article posted in this thread about stalls and it all made sense. I did check my measurements and I have lost 18.5 inches so far. NSV. My husband tells me to stay off the scale, but it is so hard.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
