Stomach pain(possible trapped gas?)

Hey, so ive noticed there was 2 things I've eaten that caused really bad pain in the center of my stomach (area between ribs).. I'm thinking it's just something my stomach didn't agree with at all and maybe just created trapped gas?? I'm not sure but it does hurt and it takes about an hour or so for it to stop hurting. It's only happened 2 times since surgery (11/15/19)... Has anyone else had this happened ??

Are you not drinking at the time of eating? Mix the two and it gets ugly for some. No drink for 20 min before eat

Probably gas. Be sure you're not drinking while you eat. Separate drinking from eating by 20-30 minutes.

I don't drink while eating. It's only been 2 times it's happened. I definitely don't want to mix the drinking while eating. I'm sure it's painful

I drink 30 minutes after eating. I'm sure mixing the 2 would be painful

Upper abdominal pain after eating can also be caused by gallstones, which are common after extreme weight loss. Certain foods can trigger an attack.
