Veterans views On MRE powder

Just started using this MRE powder

https://www.amazon.com/Redcon1-Blueberry-Cobbler-Servings-Friendly/dp/B07V2PC8RW/ref=sr_1_1?crid=1BMVQB291VDET&keywords=mre+light+protein+powder&qid=1578236488&sprefix=MRE+light%2Caps%2C273&sr=8-1

This is at the suggestion of my Nutrionshinest to get my calorie counts up - But this just seems like it will be a problem down the road - Right now going from 450 Calories a Day up to 650 then to 750 - But this seems to easy to just take this vs eating. But eating is a pain in the ass for me - But i need the calories for cross fit and work

Any of you veteran losers ever use this?

No, I haven't done any of the powders, just the pre-made protein shakes, GNC Lean Shakes. I take that back, I did do the GNC Lean Shake powder (chocolate) but used it to make protein fudge, which is another way to get your protein and calories in.

I just don't understand why now at your point, you're not trying to get most of your nutrition in real whole food? I still drink a portion, to 1 protein drink per day cuz it allows me to not sweat the protein and so I can have more salads and veg which I love...but it's preference rather than need?

It looks fine to me, but it is pretty processed stuff...but no more than my protein drink and probably from better sources than mine. Is she suggesting you have multiple shakes per day or is she just saying have 1 for breakfast...?

She Wants double the food intake Good healthy food and 2-3 hits of the shakes and this MRE - Right now i am doing about 3 shakes a day Min - Also having trouble making time to eat so this is a easy quick sub for a on the road meal. Its season here so busy as hell -

It also will allow her to zero in on the calories and what is the amount i can put in and still loose weight. Cross fit is messing me up running out of juice and energy quickly and then trying to work, So looking to add a little fuel to the gas tank to get me thru the day.

But basically i have no clue
