I mixed avocado with refried Beans and that was very tasty.

Thanks! I think I've decided on my first pureed meal.

So I bake my chicken. Also I use chicken thighs not breast so they have more moisture. I do boneless skinless. I marinate them and then bake them. The chicken chili was done in a crock pot I place the chicken in frozen. One breast has 3 grams fat and one thigh has 5 grams. So not a big difference.
My husband loves chicken thighs so it won't be hard to get him to cook that for me! I cant even start chunks of meat or anything like that till after my soft foods phase which is the 24th-1st. So I guess 6 weeks out ? Ugh.

Unjury southwest taco chili Protein Powder in 6oz warm Water, 1 oz fresh snow crab, 1/2 oz Parmesan, mozzarella cheese blend. So delicious and was able to eat the full cup with no restriction.

So I tried the buffalo chicken puree and it's amazing!

All I did was use one can of chicken, a spoonful of sour cream, a spoonful of mayo, a good pouring of Frank's red hot, a shakeful of crumbled blue cheese and a little ranch dressing. Feel free to sub out for yogurt or low fat versions.

I put everything in a food processor and blended the crap outta it. It's so good !

The recipe sounds good! However, something about pureed chicken just makes me go ewww, but not pureed sounds yummy.. Next week, I'll be trying it, though.

It’s so nice that you and SarahSingh are making delicious recipes and sharing them with us. I will definitely be trying your chicken recipe. Would you mind posting your week 5&6 diet? I’m ending week 5 tomorrow and still not able to eat more than 1oz of soft food, except snow crab, and after eating it every day this week I’ve even had enough of that.

My surgeon changes Akem if these things. This is made by the nutritionist and other people only a small part is by the surgeon. Also there r other surgeons in the same office suing the same material so they have to come to an “agreement” lol and meet in the middle of view and theories what’s best.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
