Hey my lovelies!

Has/Does anyone use the vitamin patches?

My sleeve surgery date is Dec 9th and I was wondering if I should start off with the Vitamin Patches instead of pills or liquid.

If you have, what are your thoughts?
Which brand did you use and where did you get the best price?

Thanks

I used PatchMD Multivitamin Patches for 3 weeks after surgery to avoid swallowing huge pills. I bought these patches from BariatricPal store. Then i tried chewables, their taste was horrible to me so i switched to ProCare bariatric Multivitamins with Iron (pills).

Just so you know, some people have had really good luck with those, and others haven't. I never tried them because I'd probably be one of those whom they don't work for...

Interesting! I truly want to start off right! My sis had the bypass 3 months ago and says she has some stuff I can start with. I was just cruising the Bariatric a product site and saw them

Vitamins make me very sick (always have this isn’t just post sleeve) when I was pregnant I’d get so sick on prenatal that my dr decided it was causing more harm than good. Post sleeve had similar issues then tried Tespo .. even worse. Started using the Patches and it was a total 180 difference. My Husband and I both use the Patch Aid patches now and Both of our blood work has been phenomenal. Our surgeon is on board and happy with our results.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
