Before and After Lap Band Surgery - PICTURES ONLY

Recommended Posts

I am a long way from AFTER but I had to pop in here and share this mornings NSV!

These are my WELL WORN NON-Stretch Levis size 14!

I've been trying them on every week for the last two months seeing

how far up I can get them....

A little over a month a go was the first pic.... there was NO amount of

sucking and stuffing that I could make the sides meet... so it was my August goal to get into them by labor day.... I'm a couple days late, but

HERE I AM THIS MORNING! a true testament that inches do come off even when the scale is not budging!

Breathing IS over rated! I LOVE MY BAND

So, I went out to a club last weekend, and couldn't figure out why the bouncer thought I had a fake I.D. --

Then, I decided to take a closer look at it. Although I can't see the changes like everyone else does...

I think I am starting to see his point. Time for a new ID

Scroll across to see the "current" new pic of me side by side with the ID pic.

Funny -- check out the weight I listed on the ID back then! ha yeah right!

Was just a little wake up call I has last week :-)

I have been without a fill for 9 months now, and trying to maintain.....

Here are my (almost) two months photos... The first is the day of surgery...the second was last night...

I am really starting to see it elsewhere...but still not enough to post pics... I hate my twin tummy...it's barely any different.

But my face looks GREAT!!!

Thanks for looking!

Rainer

The one in the white shirt is before surgery. The one in the blue shirt is about three weeks ago. I am still a little ways from my goal weight, but thought I would post some pics anyway.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
