None. I don't eat fruit at all. Not for any medical reason. I just don't like fruit.

I eat most fruits. I just don't do it often. Not because I don't like them or can't eat them. I'm not trying to avoid them. I usually reserve them as dessert and I just don't have room for them at that point. I have occasionally had them as a snack: apple slices with Peanut Butter, half a banana with peanut butter, grapes, fresh pineapple chunks, or a nice melon when in season.

Yesterday, hubby took me to a place called chicken salad Chicks. I had a scoop of something called Fruity Fran: chicken salad with apples, grapes, and pineapple. I think the pineapple was crushed because I barely noticed it. No problem, but I got pretty full pretty fast. Note to self: next time take a small container to take your extras to go!

I eat pretty much all fruits, and pretty often. When I got to maintenance, that's where I elected to increase my calories 😊

I ate very little fruit until maintenance mode. Now I eat some fruit most days. Never had any issues tolerating fruit.

I really like the dole fruit cups no sugar added. I have half after my Protein with lunch and the other half before I leave work so I’m not starving when I get home. Seems to work.

So my surgery anniversary date is on the 24th of this month, but I had my 1-year follow up early with my surgeon this morning (I have another 1-year followup at the hospital on Monday to get my bloodwork and labs done).
Anyhoo...my surgeon was very pleased with my results (and so where the office staff apparently, because 3 of the front desk ladies came by my exam room to give me props/high fives/generally gawk at me).
But get this: he asked if I would be willing to come in for a future photoshoot so that I could be on a poster! And I was all, ummmm....no thanks, LOL.

Today was a really tough day and I turned to food (and a watered down glass of wine). The interesting part was that I felt REALLY full after eating half my go to cheat snack, tortilla chips with cheese. So the GBP is doing its job!

The only way I can tell that I'm losing weight is from the scale and my clothes "getting bigger".
