I am 24 days out of surgery and today I gained weight. Am I doing something wrong? Not a whole lot of weight it’s only like .4 but it’s my first gain in 23 days.

How often are you weighing yourself? Your weight will fluctuate throughout the day, I've heard. I make sure when I weigh myself, it's spread out so I know if there's a real reason to be concerned or not. Daily might be too often for those who will obsess over it.

I weigh myself every morning approximately at the same time. And yes I guess I do obsess over it. Thanks jobber. You would think I would’ve learned all that going to weight watchers long ago.

I doubt it. You could be retaining Water from sodium - or you could just have a more than usual amount of "intestinal contents" today. It happens. Give it a couple of days and see if your weight goes back down again.

It's likely Water weight or just a slight variation of the time of day that you weighed. Don't worry.

Donated 50 lbs of Jeans and another 30lbs of shirts to Salvation Army.
Had to go buy some new clothes that I used to hate, but now kind of like. Trying not to buy too many though as I know in a few months I'll be donating them as well.

Hello everyone! I just joined the forum today. Had my surgery almost 3 months ago and lost about 44 pounds. Most of the weight was lost within the first month, and my weight loss slowed down almost to a stop. I became very frustrated. Talked with my dietitian several times, and it turns out I haven't been eating enough. Who knew! I was eating around 500 calories a day, and exercising daily. Well, I had to up my intake to 800 to 1,000 calories. I'll see what happens.
