8/12 crew-how's your pre-op diet going? I'm pleased to find that each day my hunger is lessening. I've dropped my calorie count on MFP down from 1350/day to 1100 day. Hoping that slowly cutting down before hand (plus eating much healthier in general) will be good prep for the post op period. I'm not looking forward to Sunday though, day before surgery and I'm on Clear Liquids only.

8/2/19 here.. .. the first 2 days were the most painful due to gas pain.. not at the insicion site or even my new sleeve.. re gas moving from side to side was the worst.. that being said once you burp it all or fartvit all it's been a good 6 days..
3rd day out we shopped Costco
4th days out we shopped at sams club and 5th day out I took my brother in law to the shooting range.. just make sure you hydrate

Hello everyone,

I got my surgery date last week and was beyond thrilled. Fast forward to this week, and my excitement has turned into a lot of fear. My surgery date is scheduled for August 30th, and I'm really nervous and scared, and doubting my decision. I just need to hear your guys' experiences, and to know that the recovery is not all that bad. I'm going to go through with it, I'm just so anxious and scared right now. Plus, the idea of having a 3 ounce stomach just freaks me out. How are you all doing?

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
