Anyone had a tummy tuck after weight loss?

Recommended Posts

A year after I had my sleeve surgery I had a Tummy Tuck. I am praying that when I lose weight this time I will bounce back somewhat. Anyone with this experience?

Thanks!

But

Question: Are you considering a second TT or WLS? Or just losing regain?

My aunt had TT after 2 years maint. Then gained and lost but now the TT isn’t as pretty as it was but it’s not terrible.

they say more than a 10 lb gain or loss will affect your plastic surgery (to be honest, that's one of the main reasons I had it - as an additional incentive to keep from gaining weight!). As the above person said, it may not be as nice as when you had it done, but unless you've gained back all of your weight, it shouldn't go back to the way it was pre-plastic surgery. At least I wouldn't think so...

Greentealael,

I had WLS in `1998 and a Tummy Tuck with in a year. I am working through getting through all the hoops to have a by-pass due do a medical condition.

Thanks all!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
